Sector after sector of American life has been ruthlessly corrupted by liberal ethos.  It is an ethos that aims simultaneously to a political and social collectivism on the one hand, and moral anarchy on the other. (Emphasis Added.)

There is hardly a better quote to capture the character of “liberal” commentary in American secular culture today.

Case in point: Juan Williams on Fox News this weekend characterized President-elect Donald Trump’s initial appointments as “a team of radicals.”

True to form for the Left, this comment (thrown out without factual supports or a theoretical predicate) was a “cheap shot”-  only intended to discredit individuals with good reputations and years of honorable public service.

From the flood of leaked Podesta’s emails we see that such characterizations are often “talking points” distributed to those in the media with Leftist sympathies.

Sadly, public commentary in today’s culture is often best ignored when it comes to the Left because moral anarchy, “political correctness,””getting their way” and “winning at all costs” is their established disposition.

In the Juan Williams episode we can thank invited panelist Laura Ingraham for challenging Williams bluntly and forcefully.

Bravo, to Ms. Ingraham.  She has shown us a very important lesson: you must confront outrageous behavior and scurrilous discourse of the Left, lest we lose entirely civil, fair, honest, factual and free discussion.

… civilization depends upon the vigorous pursuit of the highest values by people who are intelligent enough to know that their values are qualified by their interests and corrupted by their prejudices.
