Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the pool of fire.

Rev 20:15

This, of course, is taken from the description of the Last Judgment found in Chapter 20 of the Book of Revelations.  In that Book we see reference to “the intermediate reign of Christ.”  (Emphasis added.)

What if we are at the close of that “intermediate reign?”  What if our departure from faith, so prevalent today, evidences the close of that “intermediate reign” and coming of the “Day of Judgment?”

How will you account for your life?  Your actions?  Your in-actions?

What did you say when God was insulted, rejected and denied during your lifetime?  What did you say of a people and a government that squandered its wealth?  Pursued and endorsed, indeed enshrined, immorality?  Killed babies for selfish convenience?  Made slaves of a dependent class?  Embraced addictions of all sorts?  Stoked the fires of racism? Pit groups against one another?  Excused adultery?  Excused, even advocated, abhorrent sexual conduct?  Lived in lies and elected those who could not speak a word of truth?

What if you lived in a post-Christian age and said nothing in objection?

Has your silence purchased the “pool of fire?”
